activePDF Announces the Official Release of activePDF DocConverter and Portfolio 2009

August 2009 - activePDF, Inc. a leading provider of server-based PDF creation, conversion and development tools for Microsoft Windows, today announced the official releases of activePDF DocConverter 2009 and Portfolio 2009, the latest offerings in its powerful suite of server-based PDF generation and manipulation tools.

Able to convert over 280 file formats directly to PDF, activePDF DocConverter 2009 represents a major architectural transformation that has been designed from the ground-up to offer best-in-class performance and scalability. In support of varying deployment scenarios, activePDF has announced that DocConverter 2009 will initially be available in two editions: DocConverter 2009, and DocConverter 2009 Enterprise; DocConverter 2009 Clustered Edition is planned for release in Q4. In addition to providing optimum flexibility and reliability, this release introduces the following features:
