Tribune Media Services (TMS) Announces First Branded Content Apps With Adify
Thursday 18. June 2009 - TMS to Share Syndicated Content and Revenue with Adify's 200 Vertical Networks and 12,000+ sites
Tribune Media Services (TMS) today announced the launch of the TMS Branded Media Network (tmsbrandedmedianetwork.com) with premier vertical ad network services partner, Adify. The network, a first for TMS, features Branded Content Apps that link name-brand syndicated content from TMS with contextually relevant, exclusive sponsorships secured by Adify’s media division, Adify Media.
The TMS Branded Media Network will distribute the Branded Content Apps to more than 200 networks on Adify’s Network Builder platform. Each app will contain name-brand content from one of 120 TMS contributors, including Arianna Huffington, Wolfgang Puck, Jesse Jackson, Liz Smith, Rick Steves and Cal Thomas. The apps will also include a variety of dynamic opportunities for advertisers to be the sole sponsor. The sponsorships will include brand association with a library of syndicated content chosen by the advertiser, as well as customization of the app to match the advertiser’s brand and placement across Adify Media’s premium network of more than 12,000 sites.
“TMS and Adify joined forces to bring something never before offered to their 12,000 premium vertical ad network sites,” said Steve Tippie, Vice President of Licensing and New Market Development for TMS. “Adify’s technology platform and advertiser relationships through Adify Media, combined with our name-brand content, deliver contextually relevant advertising and revenue to publishers quickly and efficiently in a safe, credible environment.”
The TMS Branded Media Network is one of many new market initiatives by TMS to provide name-brand content to a variety of electronic publishers that specialize in delivering content in unique formats and on new platforms to their users. Recent new content plays include the new Jumble iPhone app and the political commentary (Opinionated) and consumer and personal finance (CASH) magazines for Amazon’s Kindle.
