manroland introduces its new market organization for Southern Africa. manroland is continually and intensively working on regional expansion in growth markets. This is a fundamental cornerstone of the company’s strategic alignment.

From June 15, 2009, manroland Southern Africa, 100 percent owned by manroland AG, is responsible for sales and services for the entire manroland product range in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. manroland has established the largest installed base of commercial heatset and newspaper presses in South Africa and a strong sheetfed press base. The portfolio also consists of a wide range of services (printservices, printcom, printnet, printadvice). manroland Southern Africa will be active in helping customers acquire used and refurbished printing presses

In order to serve customers, manroland Southern Africa has opened two new offices with the headquarters in Cape Town and a branch office in Johannesburg, which will offer the complete manroland product and service portfolio, replacing MAN Ferrostaal. Sales and Service staff has already been recruited, with a large contingent joining from MAN Ferrostaal.

Focus on the customer
manroland Southern Africa will be focused on the customer.
