Even closer to the customers: manroland Australasia
Monday 08. June 2009 - At PacPrint, manroland introduces its new market organization for Australia, New Zealand, and Pacific
manroland is working continually and intensively on regional expansion in growth markets. This is a fundamental cornerstone of the companys strategic alignment. At PacPrint in Melbourne, manroland AG formally introduced manroland Australasia.
From June 1, 2009 on, manroland Australasia, fully owned by manroland AG, is responsible for sales and services for the entire manroland product range in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Region. The product range is now offered directly from the source and includes sheetfed and web presses and a wide range of services (printservices, printcom, printnet, printadvice). manroland Australasia opened two new offices, one each in Sydney and Melbourne, with an initial focus on service for its existing customers. The manroland product and service portfolio, which was offered by MAN Ferrostaal (sales and services) and Web Services Australia (service webfed), is now bundled in the new manroland organization Australasia. There, service staff has already been recruited, and the recruitment of new staff is ongoing.
Focus on Value Added Printing
At PacPrint, manroland Australasia focused on Value Added Printing. A trend in Australia and New Zealand are customized configurations for a wide variety of printing options and new business models, e.g. cold-foiling with the ROLAND InlineFoiler Prindor. At PacPrint, Thomas Moser, Vice President Sales manroland Sheetfed, declared: “We want to replicate our worldwide success, and will be focusing on our service portfolio with our brands printservices, printcom, printnet and printadvice. One of the main topics at manroland is to optimize the benefits of our presses, to future proof them and to move away from CMYK and into value-added processes.”
