QuadTech Takes Center Stage at China Print

Tuesday 02. June 2009 - QuadTech Highlights Performance-Proven Product and Service Offerings

At China Print 2009, QuadTech, Inc. will be showcasing products and services with specific emphasis on the commercial, newspaper and packaging industries. While QuadTech representatives will be on hand to talk about the full range of product offerings, the primary focus of the show will be on specific products and target industries. As the world’s preeminent designer and manufacturer of automated print controls, QuadTech is extremely pleased to participate in one of China’s premier printing-focused technology and equipment exhibitions. China Print 2009 will run from May 12-16 at the New China International Exhibition Center in Beijing.

At booth E1-036 QuadTech will feature the Color Control System with AccuCam for newspaper, and Autotron 2600 with ClearLogic for packaging. Additionally, visitors to the booth will be able to see the Register Guidance System with MultiCam, for both commercial and newspaper applications, Heliostat 300 Electrostatic Ink Assist and QuadTech’s Color Control System with Instrument Flight and SpectralCam.

“We’re very excited to be participating in China Print 2009,” said Karl Fritchen, President of QuadTech. “China Print provides QuadTech the opportunity to not only showcase our new products and innovations, but also to have a chance to meet face-to-face with our customers and industry colleagues from Asia and other parts of the world. We are looking forward to discussing how our innovations continue to move the printing industry forward.”

In addition to the best-in-class QuadTech products featured at China Print 2009, the Vigitek QX-100, Q-Base and Q-Station process and inspection products will also be highlighted. In May 2008, QuadTech purchased Vigitek, a leading designer and manufacturer of 100-percent-print-inspection technology. The acquisition has served to strengthen print quality solutions for printers and converters by bringing together QuadTech’s advanced register guidance system with Vigitek’s state-of-the-art print defect detection technology.

“With the cost of raw materials and manpower continuing to increase, we want to make sure we’re providing the best products and services for our customers to help them to control printing costs,” said Fritchen. “Our goal is to make sure we’re helping customers to reduce waste, improve productivity and increase their profitability. China Print allows us to demonstrate the proven performance of our products and how they help us to not only meet, but also exceed our customer’s expectations.”
