Dickstein Shapiro LLP Renews Agreement with Océ Business Services for Document Management, Litigation Support Services
Thursday 28. May 2009 - Dickstein Shapiro LLP, one of the nations premier law firms with clients that include more than 100 of the Fortune 500 companies, has again selected Océ Business Services to provide a comprehensive range of document management and litigation support services.
After a competitive, open bid process, Dickstein Shapiro is continuing its 12-year relationship with Océ via a three-year, multi-million-dollar renewal agreement that spans the law firms national operations, including offices in Washington DC, New York, and Los Angeles. Dickstein Shapiro and Océ will continue to streamline the law firms document management processes, increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and improving client service.
“Developing new legal approaches that promote the growth and success of our clients organizations is very important to us,” said Sharon OMeara, Chief Administrative Officer, Dickstein Shapiro. “The renewal of our contract with Océ supports this commitment and enables us to improve the speed and efficiency of our document management processes.”
Under the agreement, Dickstein Shapiro and Océ Business Services plan to manage more offsite reprographic and document imaging activity at Dickstein Shapiro locations. The law firm will also continue to leverage Océs expertise across a range of services that include: print/copy center management, print/copy/fax fleet management, mail management, and litigation support services including blowback (digital to hard copy document conversion) and Bates labeling, a method of placing identifying numbers and date/time marks on legal documents.
Additionally, Dickstein Shapiro and Océ Business Services plan to deploy a unique solution that integrates Océ ATS (Automated Tracking Software) with the Océ MAX business performance management system. The solution will enable Dickstein Shapiro to annually track thousands of overnight and courier deliveries.
