Schibsted ASA (SCH) – Divestment of shares in Polaris Media

Wednesday 27. May 2009 - Schibsted on May 18 2009 initiated a book building process for sale of shares in Polaris Media.

The process has today been terminated. Schibsted still intends to divest the shares. However, in the light of the current situation in the financial market, a divestment where Schibsted maintains the financial exposure to Polaris Media going forward is being considered. The solution will be compliant with the Norwegian media ownership legislation requirements of reduced ownership for the establishing of Media Norge.
