PIXART.IT ANNOUNCES REPEAT ORDER FOR DURST RHO 320R

pixart.it, the European leader in web-to-print-based printing services has announced it has ordered another Durst Rho 320R roll-to-roll UV inkjet plotter system - less than six months after the company installed its first Durst Rho 320R machine.

Wednesday 20. May 2009 - pixart.it, the European leader in web-to-print-based printing services has announced it has ordered another Durst Rho 320R roll-to-roll UV inkjet plotter system - less than six months after the company installed its first Durst Rho 320R machine.

The new UV inkjet plotter, due for installation in Q3, 2009, will join the company’s first Durst Rho 320R and two other Durst grand format flatbed inkjet printers, a Rho 800 and Rho 700 Pac, purchased by pixart.it in 2008. The addition of the Durst Rho 320R provides the Italian company with an extremely impressive super-wide format printing arsenal, which will enable it to meet the increasingly high demand for its large banner, poster and POS printing services.

Matteo Rigamonti, managing director, pixart.it, discusses what led the company to choose the company’s second Rho 320R: “Quality, definition, production capacity and reliability are the elements which make this system almost unique in the super-wide printing field. We have been very impressed with our first Rho 320R as well as the Durst Rho 700 Pac and Rho 800 systems, so this made the choice this time around very easy and I’m sure that once again Durst’s technology will not disappoint us.”

pixart.it’s current Rho 320R is run across three shifts seven days a week, with an average operational level exceeding 90 percent, which means that the company is succeeding in printing 22 hours a day on average. “The Rho 320R is an extremely reliable printing system,” continues Rigamonti. “We have been using our current machine for six months without ever having to call in the technicians. This reliability, allied with the print quality, is a mix which has given us 100 percent satisfaction. I have no doubt the new machine will match the standards we have come to expect from Durst.”

Rigamonti adds: “Customer satisfaction has been so high to date, that we are hard pressed at the moment to keep up with the growing tide of demand only a few months after installation of the first machine. The new Rho will be a welcome addition to our wide format department and will ensure we can both meet current demand and continue to grow.”
