Wednesday 29. April 2009 - Site hosted in DTI Cloud high-performance data center
Digital Technology International (DTITM), has launched its new, highly interactive, customer-focused website created entirely using its DTI Lightning content management system. The site, is served through DTI Cloud, the company’s SaaS platform.
The innovative website exploits new CMS functionality that makes it easy to dynamically update content and create new Web pages or micro sites, similar to a news organization. DTI Lightning also enables Web-to-print publishing which streamlines multimedia content creation for news media companies, and B2B marketing companies. The new site includes blogs, videos, built-in search engine optimization and new Go2-Web technology which can take site visitors directly to deep target content.
Future releases will include an iPhone application and multilingual versions.
DTI’s new website is hosted in DTI Cloud, at its Internap data center in Arizona. DTI and Internap guarantee 100% uptime in an equally secure environment. DTI Cloud enables media organizations to respond rapidly to the changing demands of digital news publishing, without large up-front capital outlay.
“We experienced first-hand the speed of DTI Lightning both in the rapid development of the site and how fast pages are served to the screen,” said Steve Nilan, vice president, marketing, DTI. “Hosting our site in DTI Cloud gives us the same confidence as our customers get by knowing that our website is as secure and fast as any of our SaaS applications.”
DTI Lightning is built on the InterSystems Caché multidimensional database–the world’s fastest object database designed for the Internet. Caché significantly increases a system’s performance, enabling the creation of sophisticated high-performance Web applications vital to today’s news and corporate enterprises.
“Web publishing technology is advancing and DTI is at the forefront,” said Ed Hubbard, director of product marketing, DTI. “Our new website, developed with our own solutions, hosted in our SaaS environment is exactly what we recommend to customers, who also demand high reliability, and performance levels.”
