DUPLO: FAST AND FLEXIBLE FINISHING
launch highlights on the Duplo International stand are the:
– System 3500 bookletmaker: a mid-high volume bookletmaking system designed to suit the requirements of both digital and litho applications. Fully automatic set up designed to go from the largest to smallest format within 60 secs, at speeds of up to 3,000books/hr.
– System 5000 Pro bookletmaker: The System 5000 is a truly automatic finishing machine that delivers cutting edge technology. The heavy duty modular system, demonstrates superb versatility with high productivity, superior feeding and a wide range of first rate features. Now upgraded with new DC10/60 Pro collators.
– Ultra 205A UV Coater: A truly effective solution for enhancing the appearance of digital and offset print. User friendly with touch screen control and effortless set-up.
GPS: HIGH QUALITY, LOW COST PROOFING
GPS introduces the new cost effective X-proof Cromalin proofing solution at the show. The complete package consists of sophisticated operator friendly colour proofing/management software in combination with the latest Canon iPF twelve colour high resolution printers. X-proof Cromalin is the latest on high quality low cost proofing with an excellent price/performance ratio, a proofing solution which you may use to produce your own proofs and/or is an addition or substitution to your existing Proofing system.
IMPRINT BUSINESS SYSTEMS: LATEST EVOLUTION MIS SYSTEM
Imprint shows its new eVolution MIS incorporating full FSC and PEFC controls, blindingly fast eXpert Estimating, live Production Control and Sentinel machine and waste monitoring. Imprint demonstrates how the eVolution system can actually save costs, not just count beans.
IST: NEXT GENERATION WEB PRESS UV CURING
IST demonstrates next-generation UV curing with the BLK-5 UV system, a new UV system, developed specifically for web printing applications. The new BLK-5 offers highest process speed and optimal energy efficiency without compromising print quality. Reducing energy, two of the new BLK-5 units (fitted with 180 W/cm lamps) can now produce the same excellent curing results as previously achieved by three BLK -2 lamp units (fitted with 200 W/cm lamps). This significant reduction results in potential savings of about £16,047 a year when switching from a 6 lamp system to a 4 lamp system fitted with BLK -5 units.
KONICA MINOLTA: POWERFUL PRINT SOLUTIONS
See the new bizhub PRO 950 and the bizhub PRO 2500P demonstrated for the first time with the Watkiss PowerSquare 200 book making system that stitches, folds, forms a square back spine and trims the pages to size in one pass. Previewed at the show is the new bizhub PRO 1200. Producing 120 mono prints per minute, the bizhub PRO 1200 builds on the huge success of the bizhub PRO 1050 and is equipped with a new high performance RIP.
RED TIE: STEP BY STEP WEB TO PRINT GUIDANCE
RedTie is launching a brand new division – RedTie Services – at Northprint, which offers printers a hand held approach to web to print.
RENZ: ADDED VALUE BINDING
Renz shows the worlds first bench top automatic punch at Northprint, the high-speed DTP 360, alongside the new APSI 300 Semi automatic coil binder and the AB500 HS Semi automatic high speed book and calendar binder.
VIVID
Vivids Northprint launch highlight is the new Matrix 530 single side laminating system, an affordable and highly efficient system for laminating up to SRA2 size.
