Océ JetStream installed at GHP/Swiss Post Solutions for full-color digital prints

Océ, an international leader in digital document management and delivery, and GHP/Swiss Post Solutions GmbH announced today they have signed a contract for the installation of an Océ JetStream 2200. GHP/Swiss Post Solutions, headquartered in the German city of Bamberg and one of Europes leading suppliers of innovative dialog solutions, will in future use the continuous feed system to provide high-productivity full variable-color inkjet printing for the support of a variety of customers engaged in sophisticated direct marketing campaigns.
Prominent customer enters full-color digital printing arena
“Our maxim is to actively help shape the market and thus always be somewhat ahead of it,” says Carl Michael Nägele, CEO of GHP/Swiss Post Solutions GmbH. “Thats why were one of the first companies, and the very first supplier of mailing services in Germany, to enter the field of full-color digital printing with the Océ JetStream 2200” he continues.
Using the system will permit GHP/Swiss Post Solutions to produces full-color individualized mailshots in one work step, without having to undertake the corresponding pre-production in offset. This is possible because the astounding productivity of the Océ JetStream 2200 lets it advance into areas that were previously unreachable: The system runs at 150 meters a minute at a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi and outputs up to 2,052 DIN A4 pages in 2-up duplex mode in this one-minute timeframe – with impressive color quality.
