Lake Image Systems Adds ANSI Bar Code Grading
Thursday 26. March 2009 - Lake Image Systems, the worldwide leader in vision control and verification systems, has added ANSI bar code grading to its IntegraVision PrintScan suite of software tools.
This new feature permits ANSI grading of bar codes during the printing, converting and finishing process. Similar to the proven Lake Image Systems technology which has long ensured the integrity of Intelligent Mail Barcodes to US Postal Service tolerances, the new ANSI grading tool verifies and grades the quality of all printed linear bar codes. Verification to ANSI standards using the new Lake Image Systems software enables printers, mailers and converters to ensure that all their printed codes meet minimum acceptable requirements.
Discussing the new product, Lake Image Systems vice president Pat Hoskins said, “The customers of many printers and converters have service level agreements which require that bar codes meet minimum quality levels. The Lake Image Systems ANSI bar code grading software eliminates costly production delays and the rework associated with printing nonconforming material.”
