Automate to Profit – 2009

Monday 23. February 2009 - This will be our 3rd Annual workshop; we had to skip 2008, after all who can compete with Drupa. It is our aim to ensure our current and future customers are always up to date with what is going on outside our comfort zone.

We very excited about the upcoming workshops. We’ve put together an exciting and business critical list of topics that will be discussed in-depth. These workshop days won’t be made up from boring presentations but practical discussions with a panel of experts in their field. We want real live situations and questions to be discussed, the practical workshop is going to be out of this world, we will actually have the delegates ask questions while we use workflow tools to show them how it is possible through automation.
Some of the key speakers involve Yves de Vlieger, Associate Director of Sales at Enfocus, Belgium. Sebastian Nafroth, workflow specialist and owner of 3f8h.net. Dewald Rosema, solution seeker and owner of Exell Technologies.
More information to follow in the next days to come but we also adding a full day of training on PitStop Pro and Server, this training session will be lead by Bert van Rooijen, Product Specialist at Enfocus, Belgium.
Automate to profit – 2009
“How do I grow a profitable business?” A very concerned business owner is asking this question daily!
It’s no secret; the Print Industry is undergoing fundamental changes in every aspect of both Technology and Strategy.
Technological and economic changes over the past two decades have left business owners and decision makers in a state of confusion:
• “Do I invest more in Equipment?”,
• “Do I invest in additional staff, staff training or staff reductions?”,
• “How will the economic chaos affect my business?”,
• “What is available to manage my business and cut costs?”,
• “How do I determine and evaluate the benefits and returns of investments in new technologies and staff efficiencies?”
We can continue with a hundred other confused decisions and questions faced by businesses today – how do we answer them?
Exell Technologies is hosting another, first of its kind in Africa, annual workshop branded “Automate to Profit – 2009” that will address mostly all of the troubled topics, owners, decision makers, managers and staff will be facing over the next year(s).
Workflow Solutions
We live in a world of `High Technology`, a world that places great emphasis on `effective management`; a world where communication is one of the most talked about business subjects.
Various studies and research organisations consistently show that businesses generally never use more than 40% of software application’s functionality; which frequently results in minimal or no returns on investment.
“What are my options, in terms of workflow solutions and how do I chose what is right for my business?”

Economic Climate
The current economic climate and the vast range and speed of new technology development ensure the future will be a challenging time.
“How do I manage my business in this economic crunch?”

Customer Demands
Customers are becoming even more demanding in terms of customer service and printers who follow a pure` manufacturing` business model will struggle to sustain adequate profitability.
The way people access media having profound effect on the demand for print.
“How do I ensure I meet my customer’s demands and sustain while growing a profitable customer database?”

Skill Shortage
There is little or no training for succession planning in the people arena, therefore the rapid change is to Digital printing with keyboard skills against craft skills.
“What is my roll in combating skill shortage?”

The future is about offering `solutions` to customers by operating a Print and Workflow Solutions Operation and methodically looking at how you manage your business with the `right` workflow solution.

Organisations will be successful, if they have the `right` people with the passion, experience/skills together with the correct workflow solution to forge the way ahead in the world of change.

Take the leap and come find answers to grow a profitable business.
