Wednesday 18. February 2009 - HP today announced that it is exhibiting four versatile wide format solutions for the first time in the Middle East, on its Stand P1 Central Hall - 15-17 February, Dubai Airport Expo.
Highlights on the stand are:
The HP Scitex XP5300 Printer, which offers a powerful combination of industry-leading print speeds(1) and high-quality UV inks. Ideal for outdoor signage or other outdoor applications, the HP Scitex XP5300 Printer prints at industrial speeds of up to 300 m2/hr (3,200 ft2/hr) in Billboard Mode using HP Specialty Billboard Scitex Ink, allowing fast drying and quick delivery.
The HP Designjet L65500 Printer – the first of a new category of large-format signage printers with HP Latex Inks that reduce the impact of printing on the environment and offer broad outdoor and indoor application versatility, while delivering quality and durability at high print speeds(2)
The HP Scitex XL1500 Printer is a comprehensive super-wide format solution designed for a wide range of indoor and outdoor graphic applications. The system delivers a winning combination of high productivity and performance, which enables cost effective production, and high print quality – key elements needed for a rapid return on investment in digital printing.
The HP Scitex FB950 Printer provides consistent high-quality POP/POS, trade show and event signage on virtually any rigid(3) or flexible media(4) It has been designed to increase productivity and profitability with efficient media loading and has the ability to print multiple sheets at the same time.
The HP Designjet H Printer series is an entry-level system. It can print banners, POP displays, exhibition graphics (rigid or flexible), pop-ups, and a full range of signage. Apart from being able to print on banner and adhesive vinyl, canvas, back-lit films, mesh and paper, it can print on a wide range of rigid substrates up to 25mm (1″) thick, including corrugated board, corrugated PVC, Styrofoam and Foamex, as well as less conventional printing substrates: MDF, wood, aluminium and glass.
The HP Designjet Z3200 Photo Printer – a 12 colour, 44″ (1118mm) printer for gallery quality images with on-board X-Rite spectrophotometer for outstanding colour reproduction for photographers, GIS, commercial and proofing applications.
The HP Designjet Z6100 Printer series – delivers vivid, high-impact prints at maximum print speeds. The series is ideal for indoor and short-term outdoor banners and large format applications such as photos and fine art prints, drawings, maps and renders. Both the 42″ and 60″ (1067mm and 1524mm) models are being exhibited.
