Goss Community press at Brazilian media group Grupo Sinos now in full production

The new shaftless Community press has been selected with two SSC folders and one of the towers will be dedicated to UV printing to deliver greater production flexibility.

Brazilian newspaper publisher and media corporation Grupo Sinos has started production of a new Goss Community press consisting of five four-high towers. The new press has increased color capacity and enhanced the print quality across all Grupo Sinos publications and titles printed for third parties.

Specified with two SSC folders, zero-speed splicers and NP600 infeeds for each four-high tower, the Community press also has one tower dedicated to UV printing to deliver greater production versatility. The two folder configuration, in conjunction with the UV capability, allows for the printing of both coldset newspaper products and high-quality semi-commercial products.

In addition to publishing its own titles including Jornal NH, Jornal VS, Diádio de Canoas and ABC Domingo, Grupo Sinos prints for approximately 40 other local titles.
