First license issued in Lithuania for GALA people/lifestyle magazine

Thursday 05. February 2009 - The first issue of GALA published under license in Lithuania made its newsstand debut at the end of January 2009.

Lithuania’s IEVA Group, publisher of the high-end fashion magazine IEVA, is the licensing partner for the Gruner + Jahr title. GALA’s editor-in-chief is the former editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan Lithuania, Eva Tombak.

The first issue of GALA Lithuania has a print run of 20,000 copies, contains 21 pages of ads and costs 0.85 EUR. The premium people/lifestyle magazine will be published biweekly.
