Ricoh Introduces the Aficio MP C2030 Color Multifunction Product

Ricoh Americas Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, today announced the launch of the Aficio MP C2030 color multifunction product (MFP). Designed for first-time color MFP buyers, the MP C2030 produces outstanding black and white documents while adding affordable, yet eye-catching, color when they need it most. Built off the award-winning MP C2050/ C2550 that was released in December 2008 and received a “Highly Recommended” rating and Certificate of Reliability from Buyers Laboratory, the MP C2030 offers standard TWAIN scanning, Super G3 Faxing, LAN Faxing and Network Printing for Windows Environments.
In addition to saving money by eliminating the need to outsource print jobs, the MP C2030 delivers 20 pages-per-minute (PPM) at 600 dpi resolution with Ricoh’s proprietary Refined Print Command Stream for full-color and black and white documents and has a fast warm-up time of only 25 seconds. The product can be expanded to include PCL6/5c with the Printer Enhance option.
Businesses can also save valuable floor space with the Aficio MP C2030’s compact design, which offers one of the smallest footprints in its class. The MP C2030 handles numerous types of paper for a variety of needs, from postcards to posters and can handle paper weights of up to 140 lb. Index through the standard paper trays and the Bypass Tray provides output for newsletters and spreadsheets up to 12″ x 18″. Environmentally-conscious customers will benefit from the MP C2030’s standard duplexing feature, which reduces paper usage and also results in reduced filing space for reports and archived documents.
Ideal for businesses that need to connect to multiple remote locations, the Aficio MP C2030 allows for administrative monitoring of the entire system, from usage information and supply status, all from a standard Web browser. The built-in User Codes ensure that only authorized users can access functions on the device to prevent potential abuse.
