Xavier Bou’s departure

Wednesday 31. December 2008 - After more than 27 years working for Edipresse Group, Xavier Bou, the company’s CFO in Spain, is leaving at the end of the year to pursue new professional challenges.

It is difficult to sum up in a few words Xavier Bou’s extraordinary career within the Group. Starting in 1981, Xavier Bou was quickly promoted to become one of Edipresse’s key actors in Spain including being an important pillar of the Group’s expansion and business development activities.

In 2007, he was one of the architects of the successful merger of Edipresse’s activities in Spain with those of RBA. He was then appointed to CFO Spain and became the coordinator for the Group’s financial activities in the country.

Edipresse would like to thank Xavier Bou for his years of dedicated service and commitment. Xavier Bou is a high calibre professional, mastering his areas of responsibilities including financial and communication strategy. Accessible and a formidable negotiator, Xavier Bou made an important contribution to Edipresse’s Spanish operations.
