DuPont Canada Names New Leader

Mississauga-based DuPont Canada has appointed Michael Oxley to the position of president. He replaces William White, who is retiring after 34 years with the company. Michael has been DuPont Canada’s chief financial officer since 2003 and will continue in that capacity.

Friday 19. December 2008 - Mississauga-based DuPont Canada has appointed Michael Oxley to the position of president. He replaces William White, who is retiring after 34 years with the company. Michael has been DuPont Canada’s chief financial officer since 2003 and will continue in that capacity.

“It is a great honor to have the opportunity to lead DuPont’s very talented organization in Canada in this most challenging business environment,” Michael said. “Just like every other part of global DuPont, we are determined to build on our core values and intensify our focus on rapid execution of the critical directives to maximize our contribution to the company’s success in the next 18 weeks.”
Michael began his career in DuPont’s financial services in Montreal, Canada, in 1975. In 1979, he was transferred to the Mississauga office, where he’s held several senior positions.
