Citrix to Host Second Delivery Center Live! Event: “Slash Costs and Simplify. Turbocharge your Datacenter”

Tuesday 02. December 2008 - Virtual Event Shows Attendees How to Simplify IT, Dramatically Reduce TCO and Accelerate Business

Citrix Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: CTXS), will hold its second Citrix Delivery Center Live! virtual event, “Slash costs and simplify. Turbocharge your datacenter” on December 4, 2008.

Building on the success of the inaugural event in September 2008, this event will feature an in-depth look at the latest versions of Citrix Delivery Center products: Citrix XenServer, Citrix NetScaler, Citrix XenApp and Citrix XenDesktop. Through a series of live sessions and booths, the virtual event will show attendees how they can simplify IT to dramatically reduce TCO and accelerate business – particularly during these tough economic times. This event also marks the debut of Geek Speak Live! – the highly-regarded “unconference” that debuted at Citrix Synergy 2008 – gives techies a forum to get together after each of the key sessions for an open discussion/debate about what they have heard. In addition to five virtual Citrix booths with live, local language “expert chat,” the event will include sponsor booths from IBM, Dell, Intel and AMD.

Live Sessions:
Double Your XenApp Efficiency with XenServer 5
Maximize the Value of XenDesktop with XenServer 5
Change the Game in Virtualization with XenServer 5
Dramatically Reduce VDI Storage Costs
Make Web 2.0 Projects Easy with NetScaler 9
Slash Web Costs by 60% with NetScaler
Make Remote Users More Productive
These sessions will demonstrate new product versions of XenServer, NetScaler and XenApp, which all shipped in Q3 and Q4 2008, along with the industry’s most comprehensive desktop delivery solution, XenDesktop, which began shipping in May 2008.

The first Citrix Delivery Center Live! virtual event held in September – which focused on the newly released Citrix XenApp 5 – smashed industry records for virtual launch events with more than 4,000 registrations, hundreds of simultaneous chat sessions in multiple languages, and nearly 9,000 downloads of event content. This highly successful event allowed thousands of customers to interact with their peers, Citrix partners and representatives around the world in a single 24-hour period. The December 4 event is set to continue this success. Registration is still available.
