With the new CoLiner pregathering system the ProLiner newspaper inserting line from Muller Martini becomes even more flexible.
With the CoLiner pregathering system integrated to the side of the ProLiner, the layout of the whole inserting system is on the one hand more flexible and on the other the machine operator can observe the process more easily, Because the line becomes shorter and more compact. The lateral arrangement of the pregatherer allows the operator fast access to all the components.
Perfect Overview
The operator also benefits from the linear design of the CoLiner and the ProLiner, as access is possible from both sides. This allows for optimum overview and furthermore makes maintenance easier. Both machines are equipped with the same feeder technology, which also facilitates maintenance. Stream feeders make manual loading easier and convey the products to the ProLiner feeders, improving the performance of the inserting line.
Just as the ProLiner, the design of the new CoLiner is modular. It can be expanded with up to 10 insert stations. All the precollected inserts are stacked into a ProLiner pocket. Thanks to its flexible layout options, the pregathering system can be integrated subsequently in an existing ProLiner line even if space is limited.
Open System Architecture
The CoLiner has made the Muller Martini newspaper inserting system even more attractive. The open system architecture of the ProLiner has convinced newspaper printers all around the world. With its flexible expansion options, newspaper printers can quickly adapt to changes in production requirements.
The entire inserting system is operated via a convenient touchscreen. Moreover, the Mailroom Production Control system is also very user-friendly. A trademark for the mailroom solutions from Muller Martini, the MPC control system is also modular in design and can be enhanced in parallel to any expansion of the mailroom.
Environmental protection has also been given very high priority. The ProLiner meets the highest noise emission standards. Thanks to cutting edge control and drive technology, power and compressed air consumption have also been considerably reduced. Because the CoLiner is only activated when it is actually put into use, newspaper printers can reduce their operating costs thanks to less wear and tear and reduced energy consumption.
