ReadSoft signs EUR 220,000 agreement with Swedish energy company

Wednesday 29. October 2008 - One of Sweden's and Europe's largest energy companies has chosen to invest more than EUR 220,000 in ReadSoft's CLASSIFY and INDEX solutions.

Together the solutions will be used to automate the handling of over half a million documents annually. In addition to its cost-saving benefits, the investment provides the company with the ability to more effectively serve its customers.
As part of a call-center solution, this energy company is planning to use ReadSoft’s CLASSIFY and INDEX to help digitize its process for handling customer cases. The company wants to get away from a paper-based process and instead implement automated handling, classifying, and indexing of customer service cases. The many benefits include reduced handling costs, faster processing times, shorter distribution times and fewer errors, all resulting in improved quality, better control and a significantly higher service level. 
 
This return customer already uses one of ReadSoft’s solutions for invoice handling. Based on their positive experience with that solution, one year ago they began evaluating the possibility of streamlining their document-handling process for customer cases. CLASSIFY and INDEX make it possible to take incoming documents, automatically capture essential information from them, and then classify and index them. The resulting information is then forwarded to an electronic work flow or archiving system.
