Monday 03. November 2008 - ¡ Media 3, Russia’s largest private media holding and Segodnya, Ukraine’s biggest newspaper both select Prestige Content Management from Atex ¡ Atex partners with Terem-Media to drive new business in Russia, Ukraine and Commonwealth of Independent States

Atex announces significant wins with Media 3 holdings and Segodnya, secured through Terem-Media, Atex’s exclusive partner in Russia, Ukraine and Commonwealth of Independent States,
As our strategic business partner in the Russia, Ukraine and Commonwealth of Independent States, we are delighted to report that Terem-Media have secured business contracts with both Media 3 Holdings and Segdonya.
The contract with Media 3 Holdings was signed earlier this year, and covers an implementation of the Prestige editorial system at the holding editions. The deployment of a single publishing environment has been designed to combine the Moscow and regional editorial offices, support the development of different editions (“Argumenti I facti”, “Trud”, “Extra-M”, “Okruga”) in a unique “MediaPark” project – an area for content creation, distributed on different media.
?lexei Krylov, director of development at Russia’s AiF Publishing House, a division of Media 3 Holdings, stated “Our MediaPark content management solution is an initiative to pull together all the media assets within all the different operations of AiF, and Media 3 Holdings and to drive a reduction in our costs, as part of that project we have selected Atex Prestige editorial system as the front end”.

The shift to the Prestige editorial system will enable editorial offices within the holding to improve content creation and aggregation process, making it more transparent at all stages and takes advantage of all their disparate media requirements.
Terem Media will start the rollout at the editorial offices of “Media 3” holding. Newspaper “Trud” editorial office will be the first one to move into “Prestige” environment. Other holding editorial offices will follow. Deployment of advertising management will be a next stage of modernization.
“Winning Media 3 has been an exciting opportunity for us, said Vadim Duda, CEO of Terem Media, “Media 3 is one of the largest and most visionary media companies in our region, and is always looking at solutions that will take them one step ahead of the market, this is great validation for both Terem-Media and Atex”.
More recently, we have signed a deal with Segodnya, the second largest daily newspaper in the Ukraine. Segodnya Multimedia Publishing Holding manages 12 media products covering social and political issues, news, and entertainment.
Segodnya have chosen to replace their aging, home grown editorial system, and were looking to implement a new standards based system, that was adaptable to meet their business requirements. Prestige was selected as their companywide solution following an extensive review of the market, based upon its flexibility and, importantly, ability for them to take control of their own rollout.
“We had grown out of our in-house developed system”, said Guillermo Schmitt, Chief Executive Officer in Segodnya Publishing Group, “we needed to centralize control from our regional centres, and start to realize the benefits of one system”. He continued, “With Prestige we now have the ability to share data across the regional publications and online sites, and deliver true editorial excellence”.
Atex appointed Terem-Media, as a distribution partner, at the start of 2008, to bring the Atex skills and expertise into Russia, Ukraine and Commonwealth of Independent States.
“We are delighted with the progress being made by Terem-Media in the region, these two wins are testament to the hard work and commitment put in by both parties” said David Hall, Regional CEO Atex Northern European, Middle East and Africa, ” we look forward to extending our success and establishing a firm footprint in the region going forward”.
