IT specialist Michael Obermüller is making his hobby a career and doing very well too with an average grade of 1.0 in his vocational college leaving certificate.
The training as “IT Specialist in Applications Development” that 19-year-old Michael Obermüller completed at manroland in Augsburg takes three years. Now he has proven that he really enjoys his work. With the vocational college certificate he excelled with the dream grade of 1.0. “When one is really interested in the training, one is automatically more eager to learn,” is how he modestly comments on his performance. Andreas Sedlmayr, Personnel Manager at manroland: “We congratulate Michael Obermüller on his outstanding grades. We place great importance on training. After all, good young people from our own ranks safeguard our future.”
Practical experience as a solid basis

When asked about his future career, the young IT specialist replies: “Following my training in the IT organization department, I was offered an interesting job. Therefore I decided not to continue my formal education immediately and instead remain with manroland. I want to first gather practical experience and then take further training on the side.”
