Lexmark monochrome printers rated most reliable by print-for-pay customers
Wednesday 01. October 2008 - In an annual survey conducted by The Office Products Analyst (The OPA) magazine of more than 180 commercial printers and 55 publishing houses, Lexmark International, Inc.'s (NYSE:LXK) single-function monochrome printers have been rated the most reliable in the industry.
Lexmark’s single-function monochrome printers were rated most reliable in the “Under 70 ppm Monochrome Printer” category and received accolades for image quality, beating out competitors such as Hewlett-Packard, Ricoh and Xerox.
“As their revenue is directly tied to the quality of their equipment, print-for-pay customers are typically the most critical of the products they use,” said Andy Slawetsky, president, Industry Analysts, Inc., The OPA’s publisher. “Our research shows that Lexmark has satisfied customers in this category better than any other brand.”
Respondents to The OPA’s survey were asked to rate several printing and imaging manufacturers on print quality, reliability, image quality, productivity, features, and more.
“Lexmark’s proven technology and exclusive focus on output allows us to deliver dependable solutions that our customers can rely on day after day,” said Marty Canning, Lexmark vice president and president of its Printing Solutions and Services Division. “We are honored to earn this recognition.”
