ReadSoft signs 320,000 deal with governmental shared services center in the U.K.
Wednesday 17. September 2008 - ReadSoft has won a major deal within local government in the U.K. The agreement covers the processing of 350,000 invoices annually. The ReadSoft solution will automatically process invoices within the customer's SAP system. The value of the agreement is 320,000 EUR and the major part of this is licenses.
The implementation starts immediately and the solution is expected to go live during Q1 2009.
This newly established shared service center handles support services for the residents in a selected part of the UK. When fully operational, it will deliver services such as information technology, finance, human resources, property, procurement and customer contact.
Having already chosen SAP as their business system, this customer also wanted to improve its accounts payable processes by extending the financial system to also automatically read and process supplier invoices. After making an overall analysis, the company selected ReadSoft as their vendor of choice for two main reasons. The software’s proven stability and effective integration into SAP. ReadSoft’s solution offers significant business value, allowing better use of employees, higher-quality information and improved security. When the system is fully up and running, the customer will also be able to receive electronic invoice images for approval, rather than paper invoices.
