Pitney Bowes Group 1 Software Named “One to Watch” in 2008 by CRM Magazine for Data Quality

Wednesday 03. September 2008 - CRM magazine names Pitney Bowes Group 1 Software as the "One to Watch" in the Data Quality category of the 2008 CRM Market Awards.

The CRM Market Awards honor the vendors, consultants and end-user companies focused on creating and cultivating rewarding customer experiences and relationships through the sophisticated integration of people, processes and technology. Recipients were determined through an extensive three-month process and proprietary rating formula that involved a combination of measures including industry analysts, financial and corporate information, product and functionality assessments and customer satisfaction scores.
Pitney Bowes Group 1 Software’s data quality technology enables companies to create an accurate view of their customers, and integrate that intelligence into their daily business operations. Companies are able to better pinpoint opportunity at the individual, household and relationship level to improve targeted marketing leads, streamline operations and generate more effective communications.
“This award underscores our successful efforts in empowering companies to fully maximize the value of their corporate data and customer information and provide a proven competitive advantage as they grow their business,” said Jay Bourland, Pitney Bowes Group 1 Software vice president and general manager of Customer Data Quality. “For companies who want to maximize their CRM investment, it is critical the data fed into the system be clean and accurate. We are honored to be recognized as a company to watch in this important category.”
“Pitney Bowes Group 1 Software more than held its own with the marketplace this year,” said Joshua Weinberger, managing editor for CRM magazine. “Overall, our respondents marveled at the top players’ ability to stay ahead of the pack, and in particular spoke highly of existing customers’ praise for Group 1’s functionality. We’re not the least bit surprised to see them return to the Market Awards for another year.”
