GRAPH EXPO SEMINAR PROGRAM SHOWS TRANSACTIONAL PRINTERS HOW TO ADD VALUE TO CLIENT PROJECTS
Tuesday 26. August 2008 - Sessions to Cover New Digital Printing Technologies, Techniques that Personalize Documents with Client Marketing Messages
Transactional printers will get the inside scoop on new business opportunities and gain insight into how to add value and response to client projects through the GRAPH EXPO Seminar Program, to be held October 26 – 29 in Chicago’s McCormick Place South during GRAPH EXPO 2008. More than 70 educational sessions, as well as hands-on computer labs featuring the latest in software solutions, provide high-volume printers with real lessons that can be put to use as soon as they return to the printing plant.
“Graphic communications technology is making it easier than ever to produce high-volume output, but for transactional printers, the key to differentiation is to go a step beyond large-volume, quick-turnaround service to allow clients to combine marketing messages in trans promo and trans-educational communiqués with essential reporting data,” said Ralph Nappi, president of the Graphic Arts Show Company (GASC). “GRAPH EXPO’s value to attendees lies in the opportunity it provides to not only evaluate the latest technology first-hand on the show floor, but also to learn in our many educational sessions how to apply them for greatest business success.”
All educational sessions are created by industry experts, with an eye toward providing action-oriented solutions that can easily be applied to a business. Workshop topics for transactional printers range from business building and sales to tips on personalized printing and production issues. Sessions include a discussion on trans promo printing, the integration of transactional documents with promotional advertising, and the equipment and design necessary to succeed in it; workshops on building and escalating digital printing businesses, including the hot markets for 2008 and 2009; how to determine whether-and what-equipment purchases are necessary; and a tutorial on variable data printing, with discussion on gathering and managing effective data.
Other workshops target sales staff and production managers. Solutions-oriented seminars cover the fine art of selling digital and variable-data printing, including at the corporate level; how to use integrated marketing to cut through advertising clutter; and eking out inefficiencies from the production process.
Kicking off these, and a slew of other, seminars is the 13th Annual EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK Conference. Held October 25, the day before GRAPH EXPO 2008 opens, this year’s EXECUTIVE OUTLOOK is themed “Where Technology Meets the Marketplace: Tomorrow’s Trends in Technology-Today.” Transactional printers will get an in-depth discussion of the critical technology, markets, economics and issues affecting the graphic communications industry into the future.
