SGIA 08 Speaker: Digital Finishing Can Transform Companies

Rapid advancements in digital imaging technologies are changing the product landscape for imagers, and driving up the demand and profitability for digital finishing solutions, according to Steve Aranoff, Business Management Developer for SGIA member MGE Inc. (SGIA 08 Booth 1853).

“Since a finishing system typically costs $1,200 to $3,200 per month, and can be valued at more than $100 per hour of use, its easy to see why its becoming popular,” Aranoff said. “It takes well under one week of use to justify and begin to earn big profits from such a system.”
In addition to providing SGIA 08 attendees with an overview of the current state of digital finishing technologies, Aranoff will cover the benefits and abilities of these finishing devices, which include contour cutters, as well as their integration in a streamlined workflow.
