Eight More PAGE Sites Add Polkadots Workflow Solutions
Wednesday 16. July 2008 - Polkadots Software Inc., the leading CtP production workflow developer specializing in workflow automation for newspaper and commercial printers, announces that eight PAGE newspaper sites have recently adopted newspaper and production solutions.
The Galt (California) Herald, The Daily Globe (Worthington, MN) and the Imperial Valley Press (El Centro, CA) recently added NEWSflo as part of their conversions to CtP. NEWSflo is a fully automated workflow that includes a RIP, PreFlight, Page Pairing and Soft Proofing as standard features.
The Sun Journal in Lewiston, Maine installed 2 lines of NEWSflo for their conversion to CtP as well as INK-it. INK-it is the ink optimizing solution offering average color ink savings of 30%.
The Recorder in Greenfield, MA recently installed Customize-it. Completely modular in approach, Customize-it allows newspapers to build their own custom workflow solution, choosing only the features they want.
Other sites adding Polkadots solutions are: The Daily Hampshire Gazette, Northampton, MA (NEWSflo upgrade), the Missourian, Cape Girardeau, MO (INK-it), and the Blytheville Courier News in Blytheville, AR recently installed (NEWSflo) and will be installing (PRESSflo) at the end of July.
