alfa Media closes an OEM partnership with Alfresco Software Inc.

Tuesday 01. July 2008 - The leading Open Source Enterprise Content Management (ECM) provider Alfresco and alfa Media have closed a wide-ranging OEM partnership: alfa Media will completely integrate Alfresco software into alfa MediaSuite, a modern multimedia editorial system. With Alfresco, alfa MediaSuite disposes of a very efficient management of data.

The Open Source ECM-System from Alfresco combines the flexibility of the Open Source-Software with the stability of a ECM platform for the Enterprise. In the new alfa MediaSuite version, Alfresco handles the total data management this will further increase the performance of the product.

The combined integration conducted by Alfresco and alfa Media resulting in the product alfa MediaSuite is already being tested in a first Roll-Out-Phase at a selected few customers. At the end of this year the new Alfresco supported alfa MediaSuite will be up for general sale.
