BASF increases prices for polyetheramines

Thursday 26. June 2008 - Effective immediately, or as existing contracts permit, BASF will increase prices for polyetheramines in Asia, Europe and South America by 5-10% depending on the type of product. BASF had previously increased the prices for polyetheramines in the NAFTA region effective May 1st at the same rate.

Polyetheramines are used in a wide variety of applications in the epoxy, polyurea, polyurethane and oil-field industries. As a leading global producer of polyetheramines BASF operates world-scale plants for these products in Ludwigshafen (Germany) and in Geismar (USA).
