Loftware Launches More Powerful Labeling Software with Loftware Print Server(TM), Version 9.5

Thursday 26. June 2008 - Software includes dynamic, Label-Level Scripting and dramatically expanded PCL 5 Printer Command Language Compatibility

Loftware, Inc. today announced the release of the latest Loftware Print Server (‘LPS’), version 9.5.

“The 9.5 release is the premier solution offering for all organizations that label, ship or compete globally. When used with any of our Connector family products, our labeling solution enables any enterprise to automate and manage the business logic that goes into assembling today’s complex labels,” said Eric Anderson, CEO/President of Loftware. “LPS 9.5 offers full Java-based scripting for fast, easy and comprehensive label customization. Everything from seemingly trivial character manipulations such as font sizes or types as well as complex serialization issues such as check digits, and much more — can be scripted to be performed on a per-label basis at print time.

“LPS 9.5 also provides full support for the PCL 5 industry-standard laser printer command language. Across the board, LPS 9.5 reflects our commitment and ability to evolve our solution with innovative features that empower our users to do more, in less time, at lower costs, over wider geographies, more intuitively, and with significantly reduced dependence on IT intervention,” said Loftware CEO Eric Anderson.

“This is an initial launch of the next generation of Loftware technology and products that compliment the 9.5 release. Look forward to more news in the coming weeks.”
