Thursday 26. June 2008 - GIDUE announces its new distribution agency for France Already representing GIDUE in the northern regions of Africa, Graphic Evolution will also represent the Italian manufacturer of printing and converting machines in France.

Starting from June 2008, GIDUE S.p.A. will be represented in France by Graphic Evolution, part of IGE Groupe. The choice reflects the Italian press manufacturer’s desire to establish a new market segmentation and meanwhile expand the sales of its offset presses in the French territory through the cooperation with a company sharing the same marketing and sales approach.

The alliance between the two companies started in 2004, when GIDUE needed a distribution channel to bring increased acceptance of its products in Tunisia, Morocco and Algeria. Graphic Evolution, a company founded in 1993 by Pierre Monopoli, is a distributor of offset and flexo printing materials for the French and the African francophone countries. After the creation of dedicated prompt-services centres in Tunisia (2004), Morocco (2006) and Algeria (2007), Pierre Monopoli and Jean-Jacques Caussarieu, together with Saverio Monopoli, Pierre’s brother, decided to group the trading companies under the name IGE Groupe.

“If we had to define the spirit of our company by using three adjectives, these would be: dynamism, professionalism and passion” states Jean-Jacques Caussarieu. The joint forces of GIDUE and Graphic Evolution soon resulted in a few important successes, like the installation of a 8-colour E-Combat at Tik Adhesif’s facility in Tunis, just to mention one example.

“The cooperation between our companies has been total since the very beginning” explains Pierre Monopoli. “IGE Groupe is GIDUE’s exclusive representative and the actual mean through which the Italian company approaches the North African Market, and starting from today, the French one too.” “Our work is moved by a common objective: being close to customers, their needs and expectations” continues Mrs. Cristina Toffolo, Managing Director in GIDUE “IGE knowledge of the French territory, their strategic market approach and their professional know-how made us aware this is the right company for the representation of our product range in France too.”

The French label market has in fact reached an established maturity: it is aware that the flexographic technology, together with the potentialities of hybrid presses, can offer wide application fields and important development possibilities.

From Northern Africa to France, IGE represents for GIDUE a precious bridge connecting the two Mediterranean coasts. With the help of IGE Groupe, GIDUE is planning to create a dedicated and certified French Service Point, to offer direct installation, spares delivery, start-up and after-sale services.
