New Dex Yellow Pages Directories Landing in the Emerald City
Thursday 19. June 2008 - 2008 Seattle Metro, PLUS Directories Contain Wealth of Local Business Information
Seattleites looking for a particular business in Pike Place Market or the nearest coffee shop now have an updated resource to turn to for all local search needs. The latest edition of the Dex(R) Yellow Pages is currently being delivered and includes detailed information on thousands of Seattle-area businesses, as well as a new Golf Guide, local area maps, coupons, and restaurant menus.
Included within the new Seattle Metro Dex Yellow Pages is an updated Community Pages section. This section features information on cultural and sporting locations, local parks and recreation, an events calendar, and more.
In addition to the main Yellow Pages directory most residents and businesses are also receiving compact Seattle Dex Plus(R) directories. Dex Plus directories are smaller versions of the larger book and are perfect for on-the-go consumers who wish to keep an extra directory in their car, or as a second directory in the home.
“Our new and improved Dex Yellow Pages directories provide even more comprehensive information about businesses in the Seattle metro area,” said Nancy Smith, regional marketing manager, Dex. “The new directories, along with DexKnows.com(TM), our local online search tool, arm Seattle residents with a number of options for all of their local search needs.”
Yellow Pages remain a vital resource for adults seeking local businesses. According to a recent Knowledge Networks/SRI Industry Usage Study, approximately 87 percent of the U.S. population used the print Yellow Pages in 2007. Yellow Pages usage — including print and online searches — grew to 17.2 billion searches in 2007, up from 16.7 billion in 2006.
