The Swiss printing and media services provider weberbenteli modernizes its press park once again by investing into two manroland sheetfed presses. Thus the newly merged company strengthens its position as one of the most modern printing and media services provider for high-quality products in Switzerland and Europe.
Effective from 1 June 2008 the two old-established printing companies Farbendruck Weber and Benteli Hallwag united and now trade under the name of weberbenteli. The company offers its international customers prepress, crossmedia, photolitho, web offset, sheetfed offset, finishing, and logistics services. weberbenteli has been awarded European Printer of the Year in the magazine and catalog categories for the fifth time in a row.
“We are very glad to be able to continue our press park modernization so quickly after the merger. The new presses make us the only commercial printing company in Switzerland that can offer its customers double coating. We can for example do matt and glossy effects in one printing process. As we are already working successfully with manroland web presses we have press-specific expertise. That makes operation as well as maintenance much easier,” says a pleased Martin Brawand, Managing Director of weberbenteli.
What is today weberbenteli invested in three new 16-page ROTOMAN presses in 2006. It was in 2007 that prepress, finishing, and IT were modernized so that weberbenteli today has one of the most modern equipment in the printing industry.
