GWS Demonstrates Press Configuration Concept

Over many years Graphic Web Systems (PrintCity Hall 6 C45) has being building a reputation as a supplier of high quality web offset presses. For the past few years that reputation has been enhanced by a technical department capable of all types of mechanical and electrical upgrades.

Sunday 08. June 2008 - Over many years Graphic Web Systems (PrintCity Hall 6 C45) has being building a reputation as a supplier of high quality web offset presses. For the past few years that reputation has been enhanced by a technical department capable of all types of mechanical and electrical upgrades.

Now the process has been brought direct to the printer with the launch of the GWS Press Configuration Concept. At long last newspaper printers have the opportunity to conceptualise their perfect press configuration and then leave GWS to build it for them.

This process is not as foolish as it may seem. Graphic Web Systems has long been convinced that, whilst the control systems and configuration of existing presses may no longer be suitable for modern printing, the ‘iron’ with which the press was built has a longer life. Through upgrading and modernising their old presses, newspaper publishers and printers can meet the demands of the 21st century.
