Druckhaus Dresden embraces climate-neutral printing
Sunday 08. June 2008 - In alliance with KBA Complete and ClimatePartner
Druckhaus Dresden, a client of independent systems provider and consultancy KBA Complete, has become the 50th print provider to take on board ClimatePartner’s environmentally friendly software applications as an investment in future sustainability.
A prominent German mid-cap enterprise, Druckhaus Dresden announced the move at Drupa. It believes that climate-neutral media production will deliver value added for print buyers as well. The company opted for ClimatePartner’s process software because it supports an unparalleled standard of quality.
The successful alliance was the result of corporate strategies proposed by KBA Complete following an exhaustive analysis with a view to optimising the workflow. Druckhaus Dresden will profit from the holistic approach KBA Complete employs to sustainably enhance its clients’ competitiveness. Alongside advice on the options afforded by carbon-neutral print production its services include fundamental workflow optimisation, the introduction of a management information system (MIS) and e-business systems relating to the services provided. “In a fiercely competitive environment, KBA Complete’s holistic concept will enable us to formulate and implement new business models with enormous future potential,” said Druckhaus Dresden managing director Karl Nolle.
“Druckhaus Dresden’s systematic, strategic approach is an exemplar for an innovative and forward-looking print provider. We are proud to be assisting the company in coming weeks as it implements this ambitious project, and we shall provide comprehensive support in association with our technology partners,” said KBA Complete managing director Roland Kastner.
