At drupa 2008 manroland has sold a commercial web press to a customer in Belgium. The contract for a 32-page LITHOMAN was signed at the show on 2 June 2008.

Hoorens Printing in Belgium is an internationally active company headquartered in Kortrijk and specialises in the production of brochures, leaflets, magazines and newspaper supplements. The new 32-page LITHOMAN will be mainly used for commercial printing.

Hoorens Printing has already been using manroland commercial web presses for a long time: three ROTOMAN lines, one 48-page LITHOMAN and one
72-page LITHOMAN. These are to be joined by the new 32-page LITHOMAN which is to be delivered early in 2009.

“We have bought this press to make us more competitive, above all by investing early in innovative technologies. It is mainly our customers who benefit from our longstanding cooperation with manroland and the new 32-page LITHOMAN will enable us to offer them the highest quality, flexibility and efficiency in future as well,” says Christophe Hoorens, owner of the printing company.
