RENA SUCCESS STORY Targeted advertising in the age of information overload br-Versandservice-Ruettgers meets the challenge

The companys customers include TV stations, public authorities, ministries, congregations, service providers, etc. from the whole area around the Rhine river.
To meet the challenge, nothing else could be more suitable than a personalised mailing, and one of the important keys to a successful mail campaign, according to Bernd Rüttgers, is distinctive addressing that can be applied reliably, cost-effectively and use standard file formats. With the product series of RENA GmbH Print Systeme, we found the spot-on tools to help us come up to the high demands of our customers.
Mr Rüttgers and his team of 40 employees maintain a well-kept, deep pool of addresses as well as a comprehensive range of equipment.
For mailings, the company uses print and labelling systems from RENA GmbH, including two labelling systems, a RENA L326 and RENA Alpha 86HS 120, and two print systems, the high-performance, high-end RENA 620 print system with 4 print units, and the direct mailer RENA DA 610. The print units use thermal inkjet arrays of standard HP cartridges for reliability and ease of use.
Using RENAs systems. br-Versandservice-Rütters has considerably reduced the production time for post and advertising mailings.
“The main deciding criterion was the seamless integration of the print and labelling systems into our existing system environment,” Bernd Rüttgers points out. “Everything worked out perfectly, and we were able to start production directly. Even our first RENA direct mailer, the 15-year old RENA DA 610, still performs perfectly and is used virtually daily. We regularly run orders in million-item lots, but we also produce small to middle-sized lots. Systems that are inflexible and require long setup times are not suitable for us.
