NEW FOUNTAIN SOLUTION HERALDS NEW BEGINNING FOR HDP
Thursday 15. May 2008 - Leading green consumables manufacturer HDP has launched Genesis, a one-stop alcohol replacement fountain solution which has a host of features to ensure it meets the requirements of all users in todays eco-aware market.
It is the first new product to be introduced since HDP became a part of the Day International Group of Companies and visitors to the Day stand (Hall16/A21) at Drupa will able to discuss its many benefits with HDP staff.
The sophisticated technology employed by Genesis means alcohol can be dramatically reduced or completely eliminated without compromising print quality. It contains no IPA, is VOC free, economic to use and biodegradable. It is also compatible with the majority of inks, stocks and water conditions and has been formulated to meet the requirements of the latest CtP technology.
Announcing the new product, West Sussex-based HDPs business manager Chris Whalley said: “Genesis fully supports HDPs commitment to introducing environmentally friendly products which enable printers to improve both their green credentials and comply with all health and safety requirements.”
Mr. Whalley said Genesis was already selling well and it was the first of many new products which the company aimed to introduce over the coming months.
“With the backing of Day International we are looking to significantly expand the companys portfolio of pressroom consumables as well as ensuring printers continue to have access to expert advice on environmental issues.”
