New 500-series Contact/Non-Contact Valves

Friday 16. May 2008 - The 500 series glue valves feature advanced solenoid technologyfor short glue patterns at high machine speeds.

They also feature an adjustable flow rate for precise glue volume control. Unique to the 500 series is the ability to easily convert between non-contact and contact glue patterns. Simply change the output nozzle to the type of glue pattern desired. No valve modifications or special adapters are required. The compact size permits installation into space-restricted areas. The valves feature a purge/test switch and a carbide-tipped plunger assembly for long service life. The 500 series are ideally suited to folding carton, envelope, and other high-speed print finishing and paper converting applications. Suitable for adhesive pressures up to 500 psi and viscosities up to 4500 cps.
