Prati announces partnership with two new distributors in Europe
Thursday 08. May 2008 - Distribution agreements signed with Gematec for Germany and Benelux and with Enric Pont for the Iberian region
PRATI announces today it has signed two new distribution agreements with Gematec Gerards-Technics and with Imp. Exp. Enric Pont S.L. Effective since January 1st, 2008, the agreements cover Pratis full range of rewinding, inspection, slittering, matrix stripping and overprinting machines.
Gematec, based in Monshau, Germany distributes and services PRATI machines for the German and Benelux markets. With a solid experience in manufacturing and servicing presses in the label market segment, Gematec has been working as sole German distributor of PRATI products since January, under the new corporate branding of Gematec Gerards-Technics. “We are thrilled about the new partnership. PRATI and Gematec boast the same values to satisfy customer needs with efficiency and top-class quality” says Manfred Gerards, Gematec Gerards-Technicss owner. “I have often heard about Pratis excellent reputation for high quality and innovative machines. I am convinced they are the best machines in their application segment.”
Effective since January, the agreement with Imp. Exp. Eric Pont S.L. includes the distribution and servicing of PRATIs full range of machines in Spain and Portugal. Enric Pont S.L is headquartered in Madrid and has an office in Barcelona. As distributor of flexo printing machines of well-known brands like GIDUE, the company was awarded the title of best distributor of sold units for flexo presses in 2006 and in 2007. The companys product range includes Newfoil Machines, hot stamping and embossing presses, and Surfscan and ACE printing aided systems. “We were looking for a supplier of rewinder, inspection and slittering solutions to fulfil our product offering” says Enric Pont, the companys owner. “Our customers have always had a preference for Pratis machines, so we are very happy about the new agreement.”
The agreements are part of PRATIs marketing and sales strategy, aimed at expanding its distribution network in Europe. “The German and Benelux markets, as well as the Iberian region play an important role in PRATIs growing corporate objectives” says Chiara Prati, Sales Director at PRATI, “We are convinced this year will bring new opportunities for PRATI and the new distribution agreements will certainly help us achieve our long-term goals”. PRATI distribution now fully covers Europe, the Middle East, India, Australia and South Africa and the company still foresees a future growth pattern in other markets.
