Per Lyrvall appointed new General Counsel of Stora Enso
Wednesday 16. April 2008 - Current General Counsel Jyrki Kurkinen will relinquish his duties on 1 June 2008
Stora Enso has appointed Per Lyrvall as the new General Counsel of the Company and secretary to the Board of Directors effective from 1 June 2008. He will report to CEO Jouko Karvinen and be based in Sweden. Per Lyrvall has a Master of Laws Degree (jur. kand.) from Stockholm University Law School and is currently Legal Counsel for Stora Enso. Jyrki Kurkinen will retire in accordance with the general agreement on retirement of Stora Enso executives at the end of 2008. He will serve as Senior Advisor to the Company from 1 June until his retirement.
