Agfa-Gevaert appoints Kris Hoornaert as Group Controller

Friday 11. April 2008 - The Board of Directors of Agfa-Gevaert announced that it decided to appoint Kris Hoornaert as Group Controller, effective April 21, 2008. He will replace Anne Vleminckx as Chief Financial Officer after a transition and introduction period.

Kris Hoornaert (°1964 – Belgian) held a number of important finance related positions in Inbev from 2000 to 2007, as Controller and as Director mergers and acquisitions. Most recently, he was VP Finance Western Europe.
 
Kris Hoornaert brings a strong background in finance, controlling and mergers and acquisitions in an international environment and has also an extensive experience in cost reduction programs. The Board considers this the right profile to reinforce the Management of Agfa-Gevaert.
