Prominent Latvian publisher selects Goss Universal press
Monday 07. April 2008 - Increased printing capacity required for growing market demand
Leading Latvian newspaper publisher FENSTER International has installed a Goss Universal press for its new printing facility in Riga. Printing operations and editorial offices are based at the new 2,000m2 facility.
The new two-around Goss Universal press is equipped with three four-high towers and one folder and prints up to 75,000 copies per hour.
Andrejs Kozlovs, general manager and owner of FENSTER, comments, “We realized that if the company was to continue to expand and serve the needs of increased demand in a growing market, it would have to boost its newspaper printing capacity. The reputation of Goss International and its local agent Heidelberg Web Systems in the Latvian market is very good, so it was an easy choice for us to select the Goss Universal press for this latest investment.”
Successful in the Latvian market for 15 years, FENSTER publishes many popular titles including daily political newspaper News Today, weekly newspapers News, 7 secrets, TV-programme and Television program plus advertising newspaper Latvian Santim and lifestyle magazine Home Doctor – all in the Russian and Latvian languages. Continued circulation growth combined with the wide-range of newspaper and magazine titles available from FENSTER enable the publishing house to precisely target advertising at the relevant audience.
