Daily Telegraph Media Group Installs PrintExpress Production Workflow
Thursday 03. April 2008 - alfaQuest Technologies, Inc. and its UK parent IPA Systems Limited, are pleased to announce a significant contract for PrintExpress production workflow systems with News International's Daily Telegraph Media Group (DTMG).
The Daily Telegraph and the Sunday Telegraph will be moving its printing from West Ferry Printers to Newsprinters, the manufacturing subsidiary of the Rupert Murdoch-controlled News International, Telegraph Media Group. The installation will comprise three new PrintExpress pre-press workflow systems from IPA UK Limited. Newsprinters’ sites are located at Broxborne, Knowsley and Eurocentral.
The three systems, which include modules such as RipExpress, Web Soft Proofing, PDF Merger and PrintExpress Tracker, will provide DTMG with a flexible, reliable, high speed system with the ability to monitor and report on all key points of the production cycle, from page reception to page output.
This order follows other successes for PrintExpress installations in the USA, at New York Times, NewsCorp’s New York Post, Scripps Newspapers, Belo Corp., Media News, and Cox Media.
