Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in document imaging and office solutions, is proud to announce that the Canon imagePRESS C6000 digital press received the Best of Show Award in the Process Color Digital Printing Equipment category at this year’s third annual ON DEMAND Best of Show Awards.
Building upon the success of its revolutionary imagePRESS C7000VP digital press, at this year’s ON DEMAND Expo, Canon expanded its line of digital presses with the introduction of the imagePRESS C6000. The new imagePRESS C6000 provides entry level production environments a level of quality, speed and versatility never before available at such an attractive price point, making this press the best value in the market.

In addition Canon received an honorable mention in the wide format printing category for the Company’s imagePROGRAF iPF8000S large format printer. Boasting up to a 40 percent increase in speed over the imagePROGRAF iPF8000, the iPF8000S printer can render an A0-sized print (32.5″ x 40.6″) in 4.9 minutesi in Standard Mode on glossy photo paper. The imagePROGRAF iPF8000S allows production printers to produce more quality prints per day and helps increase productivity for print shops across the country.
InfoTrends, a leading market research and consulting firm in the digital imaging and document solutions industry, partnered with the ON DEMAND Conference & Exposition to produce the awards program. The ON DEMAND Best of Show Awards program was open to all exhibitors for products introduced after April 2007. The competition was judged by professionals from the graphic arts and printing community. Judges used a weighted combination of subjective and objective criteria in making their selections for Best of Show.
