“In our commitment to web-based document imaging we have enhanced our toolkit to make it even easier to develop zero-footprint web-based imaging applications. We can now offer three months of our highly regarded gold support to each new customer, allowing organizations to develop ECM Imaging applications without frustration and in record time” said William Bither, Founder and CEO of Atalasoft, Inc. “In addition, the ability to save standardized PDF annotations frees organizations from being dependent on proprietary annotation viewers. We had also been looking to provide a cost- effective way for our customers to extract their data from paper documents, developing a .NET Framework-based interface to a runtime royalty-free OCR engine is a great low-cost entry-point into Document Capture.”
“Microsoft is pleased to see Atalasoft’s continuous efforts to provide the .NET Framework developer community with innovative and competitive document imaging technology,” said Brian Goldfarb, group product manager in the Developer Platform & Tools team at Microsoft Corp. “The added support for Microsoft technologies, including Visual Studio 2008 and Windows Presentation Foundation, brings our mutual customers new-found efficiencies.”
The DotImage 6.0 release also marks the expansion of Atalasoft’s Gold Support program, which includes telephone support, priority web support, and free product upgrades, to all purchasers of DotImage toolkits and Add-Ons. PDF viewing, TWAIN scanning, OCR, Searchable PDF, barcode recognition, advanced document cleanup, DICOM support, and JPEG2000 and JBIG2 codecs, are supported as add-on toolkits to DotImage.
