2008 Adobe Acrobat & PDF Conference Scheduled for April 30 – May 1 in Orlando, FL
Wednesday 06. February 2008 - Largest Gathering of PDF Professionals Convenes for the Sixth Year
The 2008 Adobe Acrobat & PDF Conference, presented by Aquent Graphics Institute (AGI), will be held on April 30 – May 1 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort in coordination with the annual CRE8 conference. The Adobe Acrobat & PDF conference is the largest gathering of PDF professionals anywhere and boasts 80 sessions with eight separate tracks that address a range of PDF solutions for creating, securing, distributing and managing PDF documents.

Michael Eisner, the former CEO of Walt Disney Company, will kick off the conference with a speech about why companies that value thinking outside of the box are best prepared to thrive in the coming years. He will discuss the importance of generating fresh ideas while enhancing and protecting your brand and how creativity makes a dramatic impact on the bottom line of a company. Mr. Eisner currently owns Vuguru, a multimedia production company.
On the second day, Brian Goldfarb, Product Manager on Microsoft’s Web Platform and Tools teams, will outline Microsoft’s strategy in creating tools and platforms for creating and delivering interactive and Web content.
More than one dozen developers of creative software and hardware technologies are sponsoring or exhibiting at the event. The exhibit area provides unique opportunities for attendees to meet the conference sponsors, learn more about specific products and services, and gain firsthand knowledge and experience with newly developed solutions. Additionally, pre- and post-conference training sessions providing in-depth technical training for software developers, technical professionals, and end-users on a variety of relevant topics, will be offered on April 29 and May 2.
